The PLUS Program for Parents (of undergraduates)
120-month payment option

The PLUS is a federally sponsored borrowing opportunity for parents of undergraduates. It offers competitive rates with flexible repayment alternatives. Repayment is typically figured for a period of 120 months and begins when the loan is fully disbursed. PLUS loans taken on or after July 1, 2008 are eligible for deferment of repayment until the student graduates or leaves school. PLUS borrowers choosing to begin immediate repayment will start paying approximately 30 days after the loan is fully disbursed. Monthly payments will be approximately $12.50 for each $1000 borrowed.

Since Bradley is a Direct Loan school you will borrow directly from the federal government. The interest charged on the federal Direct PLUS is 7.9% and there is a 2.5% origination fee. Click here to learn more about the federal PLUS.

This PLUS is a federally sponsored borrowing opportunity for students who have a baccalaureate degree and are enrolled in a degree-seeking graduate or professional program. It offers competitive rates with flexible repayment alternatives. Repayment is typically figured for a period of 120 months and begins when the student is no longer enrolled at least half-time. Monthly payments will be approximately $12.50 for each $1000 borrowed.

Since Bradley is a Direct Loan school you will borrow directly from the federal government. The interest charged on the federal Direct PLUS is 7.9% and there is a 2.5% origination fee.
